Where to Stay
Places we’ve stayed at. Places we recommend.
An insider’s guide to travel destinations around the world, usually involving wine, culture, and food.

THE GOOD. THE BAD. THE UGLY.
Just like people, wines are rarely one-dimensional. We’ll point out the fabulous and the not so spectacular of the wines that we sip, savour, or spit.

LET ME TELL YOU A STORY.
Narratively driven, these in-depth feature stories delve into the world around us, peeling back the layers of a culture, society, lifestyle through the lens of wine, propelled by an insatiable curiousity. This is where you’ll learn about the revival of the world’s oldest wine culture in Georgia, the latest and greatest in the world’s highest altitude vineyards of Argentina, or join a quirky journey to define minerality in the “climats” of Chablis, France.

Tastings & Workshops
Because wine is for drinking, we also lead a limited number of public tastings as an extension of our wine journalism. Wines are chosen because we recommend them, usually under a theme. Sometimes we’ll choose wines on how they illustrate wine descriptions so you can make smarter choices when you buy or partake.
Got an event, party, or fundraiser that involves wine? We’ve got you covered with our expertise in wine and – just as important – our experience in public engagement, communications, and teaching.
