A Sniff and Sip Wine Tasting + Workshop
Join wine journalist and educator Gloria Chang in this Sniff and Sip wine tasting and workshop to explore and learn how oak influences the taste, texture, and tannins in wine through a flight of beautiful reds and a couple of whites. This is a small and intimate sit-down wine tasting and workshop, with Gloria pouring her recommendations from media and trade tastings she attends. You’ll learn what you like and why, and perhaps discover new styles to increase your wine pleasure.
Please do check the email you use to get your tickets. We send updates leading up to the tasting + workshop to make it the best it can be. If there are certain questions you have in regards to oak in wine, please send them to us in advance to ensure we make time to answer them and incorporate them into the evening. Think of this as as a fun and social interactive wine tasting and workshop because that’s exactly what it is!

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Legacy Liquor Store, our venue partner for our 2015/2016 tastings and workshops, is a very short walk from the Main Street-Science World Skytrain Station.
Is there a dress code?
No. The wines don’t care how you dress, just so long as you are dressed.
Do I need any prior wine knowledge? Will it be at the right level for me?
We are professional wine journalists. We don’t dumb down, and we don’t use incomprehensible jargon. Beginner or advanced in wine knowledge, you’ll learn lots.
Will I be able to buy the wines we taste?
Yes, we are pouring wines sold in store so you can purchase your favourite/s right after the tasting.
Is my registration/ticket transferable?
We cannot offer refunds, but yes, should plans change for you, you’re more than welcome to send a friend in your place for this tasting. Please send us their contact details in advance: gloria@wineadventures.ca
