A Beautiful BC Wine Tasting Soirée

A celebration of spring. Fresh ingredients for summer dreams. Make it a date night. Or give serendipity a nudge, you never know who you might meet over a glass of wine, music and culinary treats.

Join bon vivants, wine lovers, hopeful romantics, epicurious, do-gooders, smart and social Vancouverites for an unforgettable evening of beautiful BC wine (some new spring releases before general public release) paired with food and music.

When: Friday evening, June 1st 7pm

Where: 2nd Flr, Creekside Community Centre overlooking the water and lights of beautiful Vancouver (and a short walk from Main Street/Science World Skytrain)

What: Three Beautiful BC wineries representing three regions of BC’s wine country pouring three spring releases/top wines each, chosen personally by your host for the evening – writer and broadcaster by day, sommelier-in-progress by night Gloria Chang – who’ll greet you at the door, and take you by the hand on this most delicious culinary adventure to tell you the story of BC wine (and the delectable details behind each winery), with three food pairings and an artisanal bread, cheese & ameuse-geule table.

As with every great story, be prepared to be engaged, enlightened and entertained. Learn how to take a wine tasting note so you can lock away your favourites into pleasure-filled sensory and digital memory. And come away with a few practical tips on smarter wine buying! You’ll also participate in the world’s first… well, you’ll have to come to find out, won’t you?

Hosted in a gorgeous room – intimate enough to be social, large enough to meet new wine lovers, and welcoming enough to come on your own – overlooking the lights and water of Vancouver, it’ll be a wine tasting (soirée!) like no other.
