A feature story wine tasting

Join wine journalist and educator Gloria Chang on this feature story wine tasting of Italy’s premier red wines. From the rolling hills around the town of Montalcino, Brunello di Montalcino is the most powerful expression of the grape sangiovese. Rich, bold, and age worthy, these wines will mesmerize you with a sense of terroir, unparalleled quality, and of course, pleasure. This is a small and intimate sit-down tasting with light finger food, and a beautiful slideshow to take you on a journey to the southern stretch of Tuscany, Italy.

Please do check the email you use to get your tickets. We’ll be sending you exclusive first access to a feature story on this gorgeous wine region, and other updates leading up to the tasting to make it the best it can be. Think of this as an interactive journalism story with the most up to date information because that’s exactly what it is!

FAQs

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Legacy Liquor Store, our venue partner for our 2015/2016 tastings and workshops, is a very short walk from the Main Street-Science World Skytrain Station.

Is there a dress code?

No. These wines are some of the best in the world (we think), but how we learn and taste them is fun, social, and approachable.

Do I need any prior wine knowledge? Will it be at the right level for me?

We are professional wine journalists. We don’t dumb down, and we don’t use incomprehensible jargon. Beginner or advanced in wine knowledge, you’ll learn lots.

Will I be able to buy the wines we taste?

Yes, not necessarily at the store, but you will be able to order them. These particular wines are great to stock up to age, as well as to buy in advance for special occasion pleasure, gifts, and Christmas.

Is my registration/ticket transferable?

We cannot offer refunds, but yes, should plans change for you, you’re more than welcome to send a friend in your place for this tasting. Please send us their contact details in advance: gloria@wineadventures.ca
