The first time I was introduced to rosé, I was desperately trying to untangle myself from a boy.
In the southern stretch of Italy in Puglia, winemakers are reclaiming their native grapes to make wines that show off the terroir of their region, long known for bulk wines and clandestine additions to beef up other more famous Italian reds.
A masseria is a farm or country house on a country estate in Puglia, southern Italy. Masseria lodging ranges from rustic to luxurious and are set in working farms producing olive oil, wine, or produce. This one was most definitely luxurious, most relaxingly scenic.
